At Steelhead, we work for our clients. We care about them, we know them well, and we treat them like people — not like “accounts.” We love doing what we do, and we love doing it as the Steelhead family. We care about each other and we think we are all quite likeable — even if we say so ourselves!

Adrian can fix anything from computers to cars — and most notably: copiers! He enjoys tennis, biking and soccer, and watches Formula 1 racing and Seinfeld reruns. He and his wife have two daughters and a cocker-poodle. Although he wants to travel Europe, Adrian’s favourite foods are sushi and Chinese.

Barry is a competitive rower who relaxes by watching reality television with his two wiener dogs and cat. He and his wife like camping, especially in the Okanagan. They are also searching for the best beach between Vancouver and Mexico.

Carol has three kids, two grandchildren, one dog, three cats and 125 laying chickens. She dreams of travel to Greece and South America, and she is learning Spanish. Her interests include camping, spoon collecting, BC Lions and motorcycles. She runs www.peaceatseven.com for promoting world peace.

Craig gives a “three enthusiastic thumbs up” to being a self-proclaimed movie critic and bookworm. His latest reading feat is the completion of “Crime & Punishment”. Craig spends his summers at 100-Mile House relaxing and fishing … maybe for steelhead.

David works at Steelhead part-time when he’s not in university (he plans to be an architect someday). He is also a classical pianist who loves Monty Python. David enjoys learning languages and is working on Japanese, French, Spanish and German, and would like to add Chinese next.

Gyan is a great Fijian cook and BBQ expert. He recently returned from Australia and Fiji and he’d love to travel through Europe. His hobbies include fishing, camping and sports (another Lions and Canucks fan), and he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. Gyan’s favourite TV shows are Survivor and Amazing Race.

Jennifer is an interior designer at heart, always keeping up with design trends. She and her husband recently traveled to France — without their two daughters — to explore its wine regions. Jennifer’s latest fitness routine is to run with friends to the local coffee shop to sip something hot and rest up for a trip to the gym.

Joe has been part of the Steelhead family for 24 years! When not at work, Joe can often be found at the racetrack betting on the ponies, or watching sports from the comfort of his home. Joe has two sons, one wife, plus one adorable black lab.

Larry is another Steelhead “lifer” having been with us for 26 years. He’s a great woodworker and handyman around his home. He is currently rebuilding a 1968 Volvo P1800 with one of his four children. Larry chooses camping with his family over travelling abroad, but he would like to visit Ireland one day.

Ramona spends her vacations volunteering as the Director at a girls’ camp in Florida. She also takes a few road trips each year in her four-wheel-drive truck to a peaceful part of the world to read, refuel and recoup. She likes to write, play the stock market, study nutrition and watch reality TV shows.

Tom hales from Scotland but his favourite food is Italiano. He has two children and he puts his computer-wiz skills to work by being the webmaster for his daughters’ hockey team. Tom also dabbles in music and his latest interest is playing the drums.

Vera splits her time between bookkeeping at Steelhead and bookkeeping at her church. She loves art, design, photography and water colour painting. She knows all the best places to dine in Vancouver. Vera has traveled the world but her favourite trip is still her twice-a-year visit with her family in New Mexico.

Virginia loves to play sports of any kind, cook gourmet, garden and watch comedies. And she always seems to be planning her next trip. Along with her husband and five children, Virginia “von Trapp,” is active in music at their church. Her household also includes a large assortment of animals, and a rental home in Whistler.
